FixIT is a free consumer home service application that takes the hassle of reaching out, connecting, and receiving a quotewith local, top-rated home service and repair companies.

Problem:

Finding a reliable, local, top-rated repair or service company can not only be time consuming but a hassle. Checking the yellow pages, chasing down quotes, getting voice mail and playing phone tag with companiesc an become just plan ineffecient.

BACKGROUND
fixIT was looking in entering the multiple billion home service market that would support and focus solely on local, top-rated small businesses. An under used sector that we felt we could possibly gain momentum and traction. We wanted to allow consumers a quick, simple easy way to connect with these companies which not only supported their local community businesses but small businesses in general.

APPROACH
Assembled a database of local home service and repair businesses throughout the United States. Provide a free consumer app that would allow the public to access and make requests. When a request came in, based on category and other specifics to the service of repair, fixIt would connect with the top 3-5 local businesses closet to the service area. Bidding against one another, the consumer would receive the top 3 quotes and make final confirmation contact with the company.

GOALS
To have quick, easy and hassle free application for consumers to contact witih local, top-rated businesses, who would provide the lowest, cost effective quotes and best service/repair. All at the touch of their fingers.
